BRK heat alarms have been developed for use in places where a smoke detector is not suitable, for example where there are high ambient air temperatures, high humidity or in dusty & dirty environments such as attics and garages. Condensation or cooking fumes may also cause a smoke detector to be activated falsely. Up to 6 heat alarms plus 12 smoke alarms can be interconnected. The heat alarm is also an ideal component for BRK's Flexipoint system.
