LEAGUE CITY, Texas, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Senscient will be presenting its
ELDS open path gas detection technology and ELDS(TM) (Enhanced Laser Diode
Spectroscopy) Series detectors at ISA Expo 2009, 6 - 8 October, Reliant
Center, Houston, TX.
In addition to demonstrations of the company's innovative ELDS line-of-sight
open path gas detectors in the Senscient ISA Booth 1821 throughout the show,
Jean Berthold, Senscient CMSO, will be presenting "Principles of Open Path Gas
Detectors for Toxic Gas Hazards using Enhanced Laser Diode Spectroscopy" in
the ISA Safety & Security Exchange X-Pod Theater, Wednesday, 7 October 3:30 pm
- 4:00 pm. The Safety & Security Exchange X-Pod Theater will be located on the
exhibit hall floor in Booth 2703.
ELDS gas detection technology is cited as the first and only system capable of
detecting both combustible and toxic gases selectively with discreet
communications outputs from one line-of-sight gas detection system for up to
60% reduction in capital expenditure. Current configurations are available for
Methane + Hydrogen Sulfide in Sour Gas and Low Level Methane for all
applications in the Oil and Gas industries.
Members of the Press are invited to attend a Press conference at the ISA Expo
Room 105C Tuesday, October 6, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm for a briefing on current ELDS
technology, ELDS gas detection features and ELDS product certifications.
Senscient ELDS open path gas detector (OPGD) systems are presently operating
in select customer evaluation locations, with commercially available
production units scheduled to begin shipping in October, 2009.
